# About OncologyIstanbul Source: https://oncologyistanbul.com/about > We will never promise a cure. We will never hide a price. Hospitals pay our fee — you never pay more than going direct. You will always know, by name, which doctor reviewed your case. _The commitment every employee signs._ ## Who we are OncologyIstanbul is a buyer's agent for cancer care. We started after watching families from Almaty, Tashkent and Baku navigate a dozen broker sites that all hid the same two things: who the doctor actually is, and what treatment actually costs. We publish both. Hospitals compete for the patient's case through us — the patient compares, we negotiate on their side. ## How we're paid — the whole mechanism 1. **You pay the hospital directly** — Your money goes to the hospital's account against an itemized invoice. We never hold patient funds. 2. **The hospital pays us a fixed commission** — The same percentage from every partner hospital — so we have no reason to steer you toward any particular one. 3. **Price-parity clause** — Partner contracts forbid quoting you a higher price through us than direct. If you ever find lower direct pricing for the same protocol, show us — we make the hospital match it. ## What we will never do - Promise cures, quote survival odds as if they were personal predictions, or use the word "miracle". - Hide a price, pad an invoice, or accept a quote that isn't itemized line by line. - Take a higher commission from one hospital to steer cases its way. - Sell, share or retain your medical data beyond the review — deletion on request, always. - Rush you. The assessment is yours to keep — including to your local hospital's negotiating table. - Show you an anonymous "team of experts". Every assessment carries a physician's name. ## Legal entity Registered health-tourism intermediary Full legal registration: see Terms of Service Coordination team based in Istanbul Partner hospitals independently licensed + accredited Medical disclaimer: every cancer case is individual. Assessments are based on the reports you provide and do not replace in-person examination. Survival statistics are population-level data, not personal predictions.
