Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS/SBRT)

Despite the name, radiosurgery involves no incision — it uses precisely aimed radiation beams (SRS for brain targets, SBRT for body targets) to destroy a small, well-defined tumor while sparing surrounding tissue. It's an option for tumors that are small and in a location that tolerates focused radiation, sometimes instead of open surgery.
