Corrections Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 01 Jul 2026 · previous versions
1. What counts as a correction
Any factual error: a wrong price, a stale accreditation claim, a doctor's credential that no longer holds, a broken source link, or a statistic we can no longer stand behind. This is separate from a service complaint — see Terms for that.
2. How to report one
Email care@oncologyistanbul.com with the page URL and what looks wrong. We do not require you to be a patient, a journalist, or anyone in particular — anyone who finds an error can report it, same as the standing invitation on /verify.
3. What happens next
We check the claim against its source. If it's wrong, we correct it or remove it — we do not quietly leave a known error live. Price-index and reviewer-freshness errors are also caught automatically by this site's own build-time checks (see /updates for the changelog of what changed and when).
4. What we don't do
We don't ask what you'll publish before we fix something, and we don't condition a correction on favorable coverage. A claim being inconvenient to us is not a reason to leave it wrong.
