Is CAR T-cell therapy available in Turkey, and what does it cost?

CAR T-cell therapy is a specialized cellular immunotherapy: as the U.S. National Cancer Institute explains, blood is collected from the patient, the T cells are separated out, and they are genetically engineered in a laboratory to produce chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) that help the cells recognize and kill cancer cells before the expanded cells are given back to the patient. It is used mainly for certain blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Availability in Turkey is hospital-specific and changes over time, so the honest step is to ask a named hospital whether it runs an authorized CAR T-cell program and verify that directly, rather than trusting any website's claim. OncologyIstanbul does not publish a CAR T-cell price, because the cost is driven almost entirely by the engineered-cell product and the intensive inpatient monitoring it requires, and no verified partner-hospital quote exists. Your free tumor-board second opinion can tell you whether CAR T-cell therapy is even indicated for your case. This is general information, not medical advice.
