Prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a type of cancer that forms in the tissues of the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system located below the bladder and in front of the rectum. Its stage is based on the results of staging and diagnostic tests, including the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test and the Grade Group (derived from the Gleason score). Together with the extent to which the cancer has spread, these place it in Stages I through IV.
