Treatment options

- Autologous transplant. Uses the patient’s own stem cells, collected and frozen before high-dose treatment and returned afterward. Because there is no donor, there is no risk of graft-versus-host disease — but it also lacks the graft-versus-tumor effect of a donor transplant.
