Can I get thyroid cancer treatment in Turkey?

Yes. Per the U.S. National Cancer Institute, most thyroid cancers are differentiated — papillary or follicular — and highly treatable. Istanbul centers offer surgery (lobectomy or total thyroidectomy, sometimes with lymph node removal), radioactive iodine therapy after surgery for certain cases, thyroid hormone therapy, and targeted drugs for advanced or iodine-refractory disease. The type — papillary, follicular, medullary or anaplastic — changes the plan substantially, so a free case review of your own pathology comes first, and you can verify a hospital's state authorization yourself.
