Which cancers it’s considered for

Robotic surgery is a minimally invasive option used across a range of cancers where an operation can be done through small incisions. In practice it is most commonly discussed for the cancers below. These are the situations where it is considered— not a guarantee it is the best choice for any one person.

  • Prostate cancer. One of the most common robotic operations — removal of the prostate (radical prostatectomy) through small incisions.
  • Kidney cancer. Partial or full removal of a kidney, where a minimally invasive approach may spare more healthy tissue.

Availability in Turkey — the honest part
